It was interesting that this ship backed out of the harbor. I suspect it was too large to turn around while in the small harbor.

An elephant seal resting on the beach. I'm certainly no expert, but I believe this was a juvenile male - the adult males are much larger. I was an a small bluff about 15 feet above him when I took this video. This beach is located just a few miles north of San Simon, which is well known as the location of the Hearst Castle.
