There are three Canada Goose babies, this one dozed in the sun a bit apart from the others.

Two out of the three goslings. This is the first time I've seen the Canada Geese having their offspring at Turtle Pond. Last year was very sparse for babies because of the Avian Flu, which really hit the Canada Goose population hard. It's nice to see they're back in business.

I was looking for ducklings in Turtle Pond and didn't see any, but a bit further down the creek I saw a mother and a dozen babies. She was trying to herd them to hide in the green grasses. Jumping off logs is no big deal when you had to jump out of a hole in a tree on your first outing!
