I found this aging beauty at the Tillamook Air Museum, it was one of the tomcats you see at the final dogfight in the movie Top Gun and now resides in static display inside what was once a hanger for airships that patrolled the coast during WWII. It's a cool place to visit if you find yourself driving down the left coast and love planes.

ps... If you want to know what kind of plane it is, note the fstop.... :)

Blow it up large, you'll be glad you did.... :)

In a nutshell, that's it. Mayhaps a flight of pelicans, someone surfing, and a lighthouse on the hill and there ya go. Rugged beauty at every turnout, Oregon State has done a superb job keeping the beaches accessible and undeveloped, private residences are almost unheard of along there, kudos to my neighbors to the South.

It was hazy all day every day during our trip and I was only mildly annoyed as we were having such a good time, I decided to just go with it. With everything being a bit blurry I just thought 'what would Charlotte Hedman do?'

Legend has it that the peoples of the coastal nations had a potlach that spanned days and Ewauna, the daughter of one of the chiefs, Siskiyou, was so overcome with joy that she dared swim in Wecoma, a beautiful body of water that she'd never seen before and the home of the evil spirit of the ocean, Seatka. Seatka grabbed her leg and tried to pull the beautiful young woman to him, but she refused to look at him keeping her eyes on the friendly moon instead and so she remains thus to this day, both of them having turned to stone.

Fun fact: There is no such bird named Seagull, look it up. I'll be here when you get back. :)
