Already more than a month ago I came back from my trip to Denmark, and I still haven't posted anything.

I traveled a month and the itinerary took me from Harpstedt to Bremen, Hamburg and Flensburg, then crossing the border to start at the Wadden islands Roemoe and Mandoe, moving all the way up to Skagen, before going to the Seeland and Fyn islands.

It meant driving for ca 5000 km in my camper, and spending the night in many desolate places.

I took ca 2000 shots, so another batch of photo's to choose from. I hardly now know what to post anymore.

The place shown here might be somewhat surprising because when walking through the center of Bremen I encountered this lovely spot when I was searching for a bicycle repair shop.
It is the Herdentorswallmill. The mill in its full glory is visible from the Brücke vom Herdentor (Herdentor bridge) already. It is especially beautiful in the summer when flowers bloom and the sun is shining bright. A place to enjoy and feel great..

The first picture from Denmark that was the main goal of my trip in June 2023. Although Denmark is not the country that is in my top ten, I was surprised by the amount of really nice pictures that I took. The fantastic weather sure helped.

So more stress for me, because i hardly know what to post anymore. I can choose from my trips to Iceland, Lofoten, Central Asia, Mexico, bird and landscape shots from the Netherlands, and of course the numerous shots that i still have from the Dolomites.

The shot shown here is the Rosenburg castle in Copenhagen. It is one of the many castles that you can find in and around Copenhagen. The setting is wonderful, and the palace gardens are open to the public, who gather here when the sun is shining.

The City of Hamburg was one of my goals while traveling to Denmark, and I spent three days, enjoying a wonderful city with a lot of nice buildings. Speicherstadt is great to explore, and everywhere there is water and scenic places to photograph.

But it is also very difficult to do something original because so much is already been done (fl the WASSERSCHLOSS Speicherstadt), and the building shown here is also subject to many different sort of pictures.

But the building is wonderful and I went back one time because there were different weather conditions and here I chose for a sort of minimal approach.

What already seems a long time ago, my trip to Denmark. This picture was taken in the scenic little town of Ribe, one of the nicest towns of Denmark, and to be honest one of the few cities that I explored that was worthwhile visiting. It even seems to be the oldest city in Scandinavia.

For the moment my last post for a while because I am heading towards the southern part of Germany to meet old friends, visit cities, and maybe see some mountains and autumn scenes.
