I saw too many nice drone shots, and Don more a less convinced me to buy one. I was thinking already some time about that, and going to the Lofoten in May, I thought I might regret not to take one with me.

This is still beginner mode, so maximum 30 meter away from me.

Another space for the river project, the river Lek from outer space!

Made last Sunday when it was very cold, but not so cold as last days, in retrospection it was a very warm day back then!

From the same day as www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/25722856787/. Here you can see how the clouds are situated above the lake. On the left clouds, then a transition zone and then a blue stretch. This pattern stayed there for 4 hours, so shots in one direction were completely different when you turned around, and it gave me nice photo opportunities.

The next day the winter ended, and the skating fun too!

One of the reasons for doing the tulip road was my new drone. I wanted to see how the images are from above. As you can see no clouds at all, with clouds it would have been a better picture.

The Weerribben is a national park. The landscape has resulted from peat industry. The peat was used for fuel in the middle ages until the 20th century. (more info about the park en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Weerribben-Wieden_National_Park). With a drone you can see perfect how it has evolved.

Again no clouds, what would have added a extra dimension. On the other side I am really happy with the quality of this drone. The images are extremely sharp, I couldn't do it better when shooting manual. Even the leaves of the waterlillly are completely sharp!
