This was shot in the wild at Lake Naivasha Kenya Africa. I have read some articles about the one that showed up at Ding Darling in Sanibel Island, Florida and I guess they are still trying to find out if it was an escapee from a uncertified zoo or private collection. If it was a rare visitor, how in the world did her bird compass get off by 4000 miles?

Carp-e diem! During standardized spring largemouth bass sampling on Lake Talquin, our biologists shocked a "state record" 35-pound common carp. There is no state record for this species and 35 pounds is the minimum to qualify for a record. An uncertified carp (40.56 pounds) was caught in 1981 in the Apalachicola River, and there have been big carp sampled in Lake Talquin but none as big as this fish. In Florida, the common carp occurs only in the Apalachicola and Ochlockonee river systems in a variety of habitats. Learn more about the common carp.

Yarra Valley Un-certified Organic Garlic - Kitchen and Butcher AUD16 per kg

Intrigued by the quality of local, Australian garlic we hear so much about from the papers over the years, we decided to try some. The purplish hue of the dried skins certainly have that more rustic touch about them.

Crushing it for a mushroom ragu, it is indeed fresher and more pungent when raw, but once cooked, it's quite hard to tell the difference.
