Taken on the California west coast on March of 2018. It‘s hard to know the time of Calla Lily bloom season even I did a lot of home work. It was end of bloom season when I got there by plane from center of North America. It took me quite some time to find the location,

Shot in March of 2018 on the location of The Trona Pinnacles in the Mojave Desert, which is the location used as a distant planet for the 1989 movie "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier" (top). The Pinnacles can also be seen in the Planet of the Apes with Mark Wahlberg.

When I arrived here, it was completely dark. I really felt I were on the other planet - quite scary，plus some noise like hammering from very deep underground。
