Leider inzwischen Geschichte: Nach zwei Jahren wechselte die 1216.019 ihr optisches Erscheinungsbild und trägt nun eine Railjet-Lackierung. Im Auftrag des Modellbahnherstellers Roco erhielt die Lok 2019 eine Folierung mit Motiven, die an das italienische Universalgenie Leonardo da Vinci erinnern sollten. Die gelungene Werbelok konnte ich am 24. April 2021 vor dem EC 83 von München HBF nach Verona Porta Nuova bei Vogl fotografieren.
Unfortunately now history: After two years, ÖBB's 1216.019 changed its visual appearance and now wears a Railjet livery. In 2019, the locomotive was commissioned by the model railway manufacturer Roco to have a livery with motifs reminiscent of the Italian universal genius Leonardo da Vinci. I was able to photograph the attractive advertising locomotive in front of the EC 83 from Munich main station to Verona Porta Nuova near Vogl on 24 April 2021.
