Deze foto is de derdede uit de serie IJssculpturen die ik ga exposeren in het MCAlkmaar. De foto’s hangen van 1 februari tot 31 maart in het Stiltecentrum.

De foto’s zijn gemaakt in de winter van 2012 en 2013. Ik woon aan kleine plas die die winters dichtvroor. Het was een gevecht tussen wind en vrieskou. De wind blies de druppels die door de kou meteen bevroren. De meest bijzondere vormen ontstonden. Voor de expositie was het heel moeilijk om er maar twaalf uit te kiezen.
This picture is the third from the Ice Sculpture series I'm going to exhibit in the MCAlkmaar. The pictures hang from 1 February to 31 March in the Meditation Centre.

The photos were taken in the winter of 2012 and 2013. I live near a small lake which froze over. It was a battle between wind and frost. The wind blew the drops frozen by the cold immediately and made the most unusual shapes. For the exhibition, it was very difficult to choose only twelve.
