The famous Wat Arun (วัดอรุณ), perhaps better known as the Temple of the Dawn, is one of the best known landmarks and one of the most published images of Bangkok. It consists of a massive elongated prang (Khmer-style tower), and is surrounded by four smaller prangs. The prang is described by the Tourism Authority of Thailand as 104m high, while most other sources quote figures around 80-85m. It is decorated by bits of porcelain which had previously been used as ballast by boats coming to Bangkok from China, a hallmark of the reign of King Rama III. The Wat had a brief period as host of the celebrated Emerald Buddha, which now resides in nearby Wat Phra Kaew.

This was one of the easiest and most relaxed shoot in the long time. As I was searching for the right spot to capture this temple during sunset/blue hour time, I have found a nice restaurant amongst the old buildings along the river. The view from ground floor was blocked by big tourist boat but when I asked if there is a higher view point, the staff let me go the the top floor open terrase which was a a lovely bar at the same time. So I just ordered nice chilled drink and waited for the right light with view like this in front of me ...

Phuket is Thailand's largest island, approximately the size of Singapore. Phuket nestles in balmy Andaman Sea waters on Thailand's Indian Ocean coastline 862 kilometers south of Bangkok. Phuket is blessed with magnificent coves and bays, powdery, palm-fringed white beaches, sparkling island-dotted seas,

Patong Beach is Phuket's central tourist and night time entertainment district. Over the past ten years, Patong has turned from a quiet fishing village into one of the island's two cities. Mainly due to the development of tourism, the beach has seen a massive number of restaurants catering to any taste and cuisine, pubs and bars, tour and travel agencies.

For some Patong might be dream holiday destination, however to me it was more like a place in hell. Sunbed next to sunbed, person next to person. The only reason I stayed there for one night (after overnight flight from Kuwait) was to get to Krabi and you cannot find a place with more options and better prices than Patong. I thought I would not be able to capture any reasonable shots, however I have found nice rocky area at the end of the beach. Fisherman was just nice addition to the shot.

Chiang Mai also sometimes written as "Chiengmai" or "Chiangmai", is the largest and most culturally significant city in northern Thailand, and is the capital of Chiang Mai Province. It is located some 700 km (435 mi) north of Bangkok, among some of the highest mountains in the country. The city stands on the Ping river, a major tributary of the Chao Phraya river.

Wat Phra Singh (full name: Wat Phra Singh Woramahaviharn - Thai: วัดพระสิงห์วรมหาวิหาร is a Buddhist temple (Thai language: Wat) in Chiang Mai, Wat Phra Singh is located in the western part of the old city centre of Chiang Mai, which is contained within the city walls and moat. The main entrance, which is guarded by Singhs (lions), is situated at the end of the main street (Rachadamnoen road) of Chiang Mai. The road runs east from the temple, via Tapae Gate, to the Ping River.

It is a wonderful place to wonder around and luckily enough it is also nicely lit in the night, capturing it during blue hour just gives it more of magic atmosphere

Asia - Thailand - Krabi - Famous Railay Beach with limestone rocks at Sunset

At Railay there are no roads; only footpaths. No buses, no cars, just longtail boats. Although it's actually connected to the mainland, the spectacular Phra Nang Peninsular is effectively cut off from the rest of Krabi by limestone headlands and steep jungle valleys; the only access is by sea. The very picture of tropical paradise, with no roads and no hassle, Railay offers lazy days, adventure forays and chilled-out evenings.
