New large format creation to have a reason to recycle this Kodak lens from the 19teens. Robbed off of a Kodak 2C Folder that I bought on Ebay for $12 (which is more than the rest of this costs). First shots look great (see the previous image).

Clockwise from top left:
Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta lll (531/16) v Agfa Super Isolette v Franka Solida llE v Certo Six

My favourite is the Agfa Super Isolette (a really nice camera to use, very well made and designed with excellent handling) and my least favourite here is actually the Certo 6 (beautifully built and solid as a rock, but not very nice to use always managing to feel like a handful without being unduly heavy!). I've always had a soft spot for the Franka too.

The Certo and the Zeiss Ikon have Zeiss Tessars, the Agfa's Solinar is a Tessar clone as is the Solida's Xenar. All have Synchro Compur shutters with speeds from 1 second to 1/500 second except the Franka which has a Prontor SVS (1/300 sec to 1 sec). All have coated lenses.

The Agfa, Certo and Zeiss cameras have coupled rangefinders. The Franka's rangefinder is uncoupled but is the brightest of these cameras (and all have had their viewfinders/rangefinders carefully cleaned and accurately calibrated to match the lenses).

All these 60 year old cameras work perfectly shooting 12 images on each roll of 120 film.
