A fifteen second exposure of the sunset over Land’s End, England’s most westerly point, captured on a visit to West Cornwall towards the end of summer. I used two neutral density graduated filters in situ, and brought out the details in the shadows in Lightroom and subsequently cloned a few oddities and areas of stray light in GIMP. ... about a spectacular sunrise? Is there an aesthetic sense in water fowl? What about the fish hitting the surface of the lake to pick up the emerging midges? Is there any relaxation of the need to beware of those that consume them, and the need to search for food? Perhaps only in Disney movies, but it's nice to think they get some modest enjoyment from scenes like this. (#4)
