The north lobby "garden" (all the flowers are silk...) of the Hotel Cascadas in the Zona Norte of Tijuana, BCN, Mexico. (Baja California Norte…) Taken by a Minolta CLE with a Voightlander Nokton 40mm ƒ 1.4 lens on Fujichrome Velvia 100 film.

The Hotel Rizo del'Oro, as seen from the sixth floor (American count, Europeans deduct one...) of the Hotel Cascadas in the Zona Norte of Tijuana, BCN, Mexico. Taken by a Minolta CLE with a Voigtländer Super-wide Heliar 15mm ƒ 4.5 Aspherical 2 lens on Fujichrome Velvia 100 film. Exact exposure not recalled, but on the order of 1/2 to 2 seconds, wide open.
Note that in this shot (taken at about 1800 [6pm] in January...) the Tropical Bar's sign is unlit (as yet, later in the evening it went on...) and the Hotel Rizo del'Oro sign is fully lit. (on a later trip, the neon in the "Oro" portion had failed...)
Also note that it is very rare for me to be posting film shots and digital shots of the same trip at the same time, due to a large backlog of shots in the queue for the digital camera, and my (usual mode) processing, scanning and posting film shots as soon as the roll is finished. In this case, the film was processed back in May, 2016, but, due to a failure in my "Main Computer", which was the one hooked up to my scanner, I delayed until I had 5 or 6 rolls to scan - the "Main computer" is still not back online, I'm posting shots from an Intel I7 laptop...
