Antoinette Perry, Chair, Organ Restoration Steering Committee
Source of reference:The Tignish Pipe Organ in Musical Retrospect 1882-1982
by J. Henri Gaudet
The 1882 tracker-action pipe organ located in the gallery of St. Simon and St. Jude
Roman Catholic Church was the 129th organ built by Louis Mitchell, French Canadian
Organ Builder, of Montreal. The tracker organ, with its pure tonal quality and timbre, is
the ideal instrument for this church with its interior of Neo-Gothic design.

Looks best in LightBox

Lobster trap buoys freshly painted for the fall fishing season. I like the fact that the fishermen paint them unique colors to identify their gear. I'm sure in these days with GPS it's not necessary but is a sense of pride.
I'm adding these to my "West Prince Buoys" set.
Large.
