The Leleshwa Winery, located just north of Naivasha, is part of Morendat Farm, a very large farm known for its outstanding beef. This is the only winery in Kenya. Because of the moderate climate, due to a high altitude of about 1,900 meters, they produce mostly white wines (Chenin Blanc and Sauvignion Blanc), but they also are growing small quantities red wines (Shiraz).
