Two days ago we visited Leslie Hills Station (North Canterbury), with the wife of the previous owner (and mother of current owner) and had a wander around the grounds of the homestead.

Wording on seat plaque:
Erected in 1960 to the Memory of George and Isobel Rutherford who settled here 100 years ago and erected their first home on this site.
