Once again the shot from my photo session near the bridge of Paton (Kiev, Ukraine).
The setup of filters was really complicated. I've used Cokin -1EV gradient filter to equalize the top and the bottom and added a polarizer to encrease the reflection from the water thus making it look white like milk.
Usually you use polarizer filter to remove the glare from water. So if I turn it 90 degrees the bottom of river would be visible.

Taken yesterday near the bridge of Paton (Kiev, Ukraine). We've spent whole evening there using this cloudy and grey day to get very long exposure. The distant fog was also very interesting. I'm preparing the next shot taken just below the bridge... It is even more surreal ;)

St. Nickolas of Myra church on waters of Dnipro (Kiev, Ukraine). Such unusual spot for a church was choosen because Saint Nickolas is the patron saint of sailors and is often called upon by mariners who are in danger of drowning or being shipwrecked.
This church is quite new and is the first of a kind at Europe. The building was started at December 19th, 2003. By the way it was the day of Saint Nickolas for orthodox christians.

It was something incredible. A fog at Kiev is not too common, you have only few chances a year to see it. I had strong gut feeling I have to pick up my camera and the tripod. And I'm glad I did ;) What I saw at Mariyinskiy park was completely surreal. Strange light everywhere, silhouettes of people... The fog was so dense it was easy to get lost!
