I really wanted to go to the coast today, the ocean is calling, the tides of my soul are pulling west. But it just didn't work out. I had to take down a show, mat and frame a print, finish editing a wedding and then still have to draft some contact sheets for a lady at Adidas. So the ocean had to... has to wait. Maybe for just a couple more days, maybe longer. We shall see. I know where it is, and it generally seems to know where I am, that is when it cares to know. But even if my feet aren't buried in sand and my face turned toward an ocean breeze, there is a part of me that is there always, right now even, watching the ocean roar its timeless roar and standing at the edge of two worlds.
It is a place I'll never grow tired of going to, it is a place I'll never leave.
