These are all broken--presumably the whole ones have long since been salvaged and sold to re-sellers (there's a big market for common Chicago brick--for example www.chicagobrick.net/ is in Florida, where they brag "We specialize in importing the best quality Antique Chicago Brick from the windy city." These are from the Barr Brick Company in Streator.
