Happy Caturday 18.2.2023 "Love"
Please give little Timmy (5) a very warm welcome! I fetched him
from the shelter last week. He had been found wounded on the
right side of his chest.
He is an exceptionally cuddly little man :-) My mother (89), who
I care for here, is very happy with him. She had suffered very
much from Sheila's passing.
What you see in the video is called a milk kick. Baby cats
stimulate the milk flow of their mother. Many cats maintain this
and express comfort and satisfaction. And they mark their
possessions with it, in this case my pillow ;-)
It was not my intention at first to choose a black cat again. But I had read that black cats hardly have a chance to find a new family. This was confirmed to me at the shelter. Then it was clear that I would take a black cat again. A frequent argument against black cats seems to be "you can't make selfies with them". Absolutely unbelievable.

After a week with me Timmy is allowed for the first time
on the terrace secured with a cat net. The cat net is planned for about 4 weeks.
Update: 2 years later the cat net ist still there - I close the door to the freedom around midnight, but Timmy is allwed to be on the terrace every time, and he enjoys that.
Update: in 2022 the cat net was finally removed :-)
