Main cascade of Carlon Falls, about 4m in height. Carlon Falls waterfall is fairly small by the standards of Yosemite, but fed by the South Fork of the Tuolumne, it is large enough to run year-round. The 2km trail is relatively hidden, located in Stalislaus National Forest before crossing the park boundary. However it is a favorite of locals, who like to swim in the many pools around the falls.
