Growing up around the Bay Area, it seems that the center of Berkeley's business activity has shifted from Telegraph near UC Berkeley back to Downtown on Shattuck Avenue. I remember vaguely it being a dirty and somewhat neglected spot. Now the area is lined with coffeehouses and small shops. Some of the damage from the Ferguson Protests can be seen in the boarded up windows at lower right.
