Getting up at 5am is hard, but the hope to see fog as thick as the day before (where I was out without my camera) motivated me. Compared to the day before, there was literally no fog, but the sun (about 10 minutes from rising over those hills) made for some great, soft tones and the little bit of fog left started to show up nicely. So, even though my battery died about 1 minute after the sun came over the hills, I still got a nice shot :)

The most famous structure in the park in Kromlau is the Rakotzbrücke, built in the 19th century. It was designed to form a perfect circle with its own reflection in the water below. You can't cross it, it's way too steep and closed to the public, but it's a pretty impressive sight!

The rebuilt Church of our Lady (Frauenkirche) in Dresden, Germany. The church was destroyed in WWII, and as a kid, I played in the ruins which were left by the GDR government as a reminder of the consequences of war. The church was rebuilt through donations after the reunification and I watched it grow year after year until she stood again in all her magnificence.

I had to wait for two and a half days before the storm and rain had passed and the sun finally came out. And there were the fall colors I had been waiting for, providing great contrast to the white chalk cliffs and patches of blue sky. // Also used: Formatt Hitech 2.5 ND and 0.9 Grad filters.
