Today I wanted to share a more close-up photograph than my usual landscapes. I decided to finally give my macro lens a bit of a workout again and went out hunting for crocuses. And was reminded once more just how difficult using a macro lens (in very strong gusts of wind) is. So I switched to my long Panasonic lens 😂

I’m also using Affinity Photo on iPad more and more as my primary photo editing tool. It’s just so comfortable to edit directly with the Apple Pencil on the large iPad Pro 12.9 screen instead of having to painstakingly use a mouse or the trackpad on the Mac. Painting into masks, for example during Frequency Separation, is just much easier this way. And makes me have less buyer’s remorse about that shiny iPad Pro ;)
