I recently inherited some old (1930) albums containing a few interesting pictures. This one shows a group of Dutch military personnel, mixed with a few civilians. At right seems to be a police officer. The house in the background has the name "KOLFBAAN' which might locate this picture in Friesland.

A group of Dutch military motorcycles carrying MG's. The motorcycles were of Dutch manufacturer Eysink and were bought in 1913. They continued in service till 1938/1939. The machine gun which was carried on the motorcycle was of Schwarzloze. Firing rounds could of course only be done when the motorcycle was not riding. It was a quickly moved machine gun installation.
