This one was flying out from its perch and grabbing flying insects. So good to see a survivor from the new generation of migratory songbirds here apparently capable of taking care of itself. Some Cedar Waxwings spend the winter here, but most go to southern Alberta and farther south.
These are my 15th and 16th fall Warblers. I got both today. They are probably my last of this season. These are among the last of the of the Warblers to leave here and I might not get another chance to get another shot of either.
