I don't often upload my astrophotography images, mainly because I'm a bit of a beginner and I've only been doing it for the last couple of years. In reality, that's probably less than 6 months due to the Northern Irish weather! Every now and again, I'll try and upload something space-related if you want. This shot was just under 3 hours of exposure time.
If anyone needs some online lessons in deep space photography, I can give them. I know the learning curve is pretty steep!
The Horsehead and Flame Nebulae, part of the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex. 82 x 2 min exposures using an ASI2600MC Pro and a William Optics Zenithstar 73 with an Optolong L-Enhance filter. Gain 100.

Sunset at Registan Square in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
Last June, I spend some time going around Karakalpakstan for their tourism board, plus for Uzbekistan Tourism. Once the job was finished, I really wanted to visit Samarkand. I'd seen photos of Registan Square when I was younger and had an idea of a photo I wanted there. After two days of shooting at sunset and sunrise, I finally captured the image I had in my head all this time.

I was going to an f-stop Gear Pro event in North Macedonia earlier this year and thought I'd stop by Kosovo on the way. The main reason was to photograph this unique library. It's the type of building you love or hate. I think most people hate it, but I think it's fantastic in its brutalism.
I got up super early and went there about an hour before sunrise to watch the light chance. Thankfully the sun found a way through and with all the clouds, I decided to do a long exposure to really bring out the golden hour colours.
