One of the first shots I took in arches national park after driving some 3 hours from Salt lake City, to Moab. Was quite a welcome quiet spot to see the sunset after quite a busy first day.

Big, Intimidating arch, probably my favorite arch. On my two visits to the arch there were surprisingly less visitors to this arch than the nearby windows and turret arches. The arch is a bit hidden from plain sight though so that may have detoured some of the visitors. It was horribly overcast on both my visits, but luckily the sun was casting some nice light through the clouds.

Probably the most famous arch in the world and one of the most popular in the park. Didn't have high expectations of any shots from this day as it was very overcast and extremely windy...didn't expect a shot like this and thought I came home defeated that day uptil I started processing the shots a few days ago.

I was also glad that people were very respectful of the fact that others traveled from all parts of the world and would like to get a clean shot of the arch. Cheers to all those folks!

Saw this nice photogenic spot on my way to check out sand-dune arch. There was something missing though. These folks with tripod in hand were kind enough to lend me their services. Now they are Flickr-stars.

It is the seat of the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, and a parish church, located on the east side of Fifth Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets in midtown Manhattan, New York City, New York, directly across the street from Rockefeller Center and specifically facing the Atlas statue."

Cant let a nasty gloomy day go to waste. Good time to shoot some gothic architecture!
