Walking from my training center to Monument Station on a Tube Strike day with the E-P1 + 20mm is a very good idea. London is a very interesting city. On one side of the bridge, you can find calmness, on the other side, everything seems to be in a rush against time.

It's a good recreational activity to take pictures of cameras. :D Especially when it's a vintage-looking retro-styling E-P1.

Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC GH1

I'm over the moon getting the Sigma 50-150 f2.8 used for a very decent price.
This lens has been discontinued recently to make way for a new version with Optical Stabilisation. Since Pentax DSLR has in-body stabilisation, OS is not necessary but the extra weight is quite significant. Even at slightly less than 800g, this lens is heavy. An OS version can only be heavier, especially as AFAIK, it has a tripod collar.
An alternative to this lens would be the Pentax DA* 50-135 f2.8 (or Tokina equivalent on Canikon) but it is just way too expensive just for weather sealing. Don't want to reveal the price I paid but I can tell you I save enough money opting for this lens to buy a Limited!
This lens will be my dedicated portrait lens. Focus is fast and silent so probably some short birding is possible. And since the lens neither rotates nor extends during zooming and focusing, I'm tempted to use my Opteka 10x close up filter on it for quick macro.

My new graphic card! It's a Gainward Golden Sample GTX 550 Ti.
The GTX 550 is a "mainstream" (read: cheap) GPU. It's affordable which is good since I do not need anything outrageous in term of gaming (play PS3 more these days).
I switched from an Asus HD5670 to this nVidia all because of CUDA. I initially wanted an nVidia GPU when building my PC but at that time the 400 series is still not out yet so ATi is the only DX11 GPU on the market. The 400 series is too hot and noisy for my taste. So I'm happy that this Gainward is very quiet. And I have CUDA for my apps.
I think the Golden Sample is a 10% overclocked version of the standard version. It's less than 10% more expensive so I think it's worth it.
Also, this one has normal HDMI out port instead of the "standard" mini-HDMI.
