Heidy and I have started, a few weeks ago, playing with light to do some light graffiti, light painting and tentative of “orbs “. It took some research on line to find out that some light painters really master this form of photographic art and we were waiting for the next full moon to do some more tests that were conducted on the island of Huahine. A warm thank you to Kevin Lajoie, alias Ningaloo on Flickr, his tremendous help was very valuable and gave us some precious “secrets”.
Inspired by the famous late 60’s British TV serie “the prisoner” we took our white “orbs” on the beach as well as inside the newly opened Maitai Lapita hotel in Huahine to stop # 6 to escape….
It is basically as simple as spinning Christmas lights at the end of a wire but it takes lots of practice to achieve perfectly round and regular shapes manually.
Not yet completely addicted but looking forward to the next full moon….
