TODAY, the 24 October, people in 181 countries came together for the most widespread day of environmental action in the planet's history. At over 5200 events around the world, people gathered to call for strong action and bold leadership on the climate crisis.

350.org is an international campaign dedicated to building a movement to unite the world around solutions to the climate crisis--the solutions that science and justice demand.

What is 350.org ? 350 parts per million is what many scientists, climate experts, and progressive national governments are now saying is the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. (in October 2009 we are at 387 ppm)

Kite Aerial photography was a perfect match to record this event in Tahiti and to illustrate the gathering of 350 people for 350 seconds! (well in fact a bit more….)

The “zero” is already in the water to illustrate the rise of the oceans due to climate changes; luckily we still have some outrigger canoes to reach safer shores…

Venus Point, Island of Tahiti, French Polynesia – Kite : Fled – Camera : Ricoh GX 200 – Rig : designed by Brooks Leffler –AUTOKAP -

This Kite aerial photography session was also the conclusion of KAPiTA/09 a gathering of KAPers coming from the UK, Canada, Switzerland and France.
