I did a quick test flight of the Paul’s fishing kite : the Nighthawk.
Conditions were not ideal : lack of time, gusty winds on top of Mount Eden; my first impression is that fishermen and KAPers do not use the same kites; This one is not as stable as a Dan Leigh Delta but it may be a question of fine tuning, tends to overfly but to be honest I spent too little time to draw definite conclusions. For sure it can support strong and gusty wind, has a small traction and a good lift; I took the risk to attach a rig and shoot a few images but I did not feel very comfortable.
