A Great KAP session with Simon Harbord, the "Auto KAP Guru" but also a fantastic host and talented guide who showed us some hidden targets in Aberdeenshire.
We spent 4 fantastic days touring the countryside in search of some subjects to KAP... and when you know there are over 3000 castles in Scotland..... this is a KAPer's dream !!!
Conditions were ideal to fly the Dan Leigh R8 Delta and to really start experimenting the art of flying "slack line" : an answer to all stability questions regularly seen on the KAP forum.

Easter Aquorthies is a Stone Circle in Aberdeenshire
This is a lovely recumbent stone circle, situated on the false crest of a hill just outside Inverurie. One of the stones is made of stunning red jasper and there is a 'reserved' area in front of the recumbent, delineated by two huge slabs which stick out from it, pointing towards the centre of the circle. A very interesting circle which warrants much more study.
