Yesterday we had to say good-bye for now to Jabez who is heading for a new home in New Vernon, New Jersey. My cousin rescued Jabez several years ago from an illegal slaughter operation. He became a trusted companion to her American Paint Horse, Snoopy. Snoop passed away two years ago at the age of twenty-three leaving Jabez without his buddy. Due to a personal injury my cousin could no longer properly care for Jabez in the manner he has grow accustomed to, so he was donated to a young woman as a companion for her thoroughbred.
