Hi guys!

Sorry it's been so long between posting!

I have been very busy!

Good news, though: I start my accounting diploma course in less than a week!

In 2 years of college I will have an accounting Diploma, which I can put towards a 4 year degree after I've worked for a few years!

After more than a decade of wasted time with thankless going nowhere jobs, I am finally taking positive steps!

So, now that I have caught you guys up, this photo was taken at Eliston Lake, Calgary during the annual GlobalFest Fireworks show, a weeklong event which features stunning fireworks displays from various nations around the globe!

Cheers, my friends, and I truly hope you have all been well!

Taken during a lovely weekend trip into the mountains late last September, here is the beautiful Mount Norquay as seen from a hillside lookout point in the Cave & Basin Protected Ecosystem in Banff, Alberta.

Hope you are all enjoying your week so far, the weekend is almost here!

Well, it sure does feel good to be posting to flickr again!

This shot was taken back in late December, shortly before Christmas, I think, on a lovely morning dog walk with Beefy.

The days were short back then, so the sun was rising around 8:30 - 9 am, so here it is illuminating water, ice, snow, frost, and clouds as it rises over Fish Creek Park and the Bow River on a gorgeous winter morning.

Hope you are all having a great week so far!

Hey, guys!

I am back!

I haven't uploaded a photo since November of last year!

Have been very busy with work and getting ready to start my Accounting course in April.

Sadly, my grandfather passed away two weeks ago and the family asked me to be the official photographer of the funeral.

Here is a photo of my lovely grandmother, Katherine Mary Smith, having just been awarded a chalice honouring my grandfather, Gerald Harry Duncan Smith, from the Knights of Columbus, of which my grandfather was a long time member.

I added a textural backdrop to the photo for dramatic effect, hope you guys like it.

RIP Grandpa!

This was taken at the Museum of the Regiments here in Calgary, Alberta on a cold, snowy Remembrance Day last year (sadly, no time to make it out there this year!).

In memory of all our fallen soldiers throughout the ages.

Lest We Forget.
