Last shot from my recent trip up to Glasgow.
--
This is the Clyde Arc (known locally as the Squinty Bridge), a road bridge spanning the River Clyde in the City of Glasgow.
--
A prominent feature of the bridge is its innovative curved design and the way that it crosses the river at an angle, it also boasts some nice LED lighting which change colour.
--
A wider angle shot exposed for 15 seconds.

A must to be seen Large on Black

Does anyone know how many colours it cycles through ?
I have only seen Purple, Blue and Red.

Taken while on a recent trip to Fairlie Glen.
--
Such a magical location as the burn falls over several fine waterfalls.
A small wooded valley, barely a mile (1.5 km) in length, Fairlie Glen extends eastwards from Fairlie Moor down towards the village of Fairlie in North Ayrshire.
--
This has become one of my favourite locations.
--
Used a circular polariser to allow for a longer shutter speed to give some nice movement in the water.
--
Taken using a Sigma 10-20 lens, f/16 with a fifteen second exposure.
--
Best seen on a big screen Large

A view over to the Isle of Arran with the sun dropping behind the island, taken looking over one of the tidal pools at Saltcoats.

The structure to the left sits at the end of the sea wall and is a viewing tower.
--
Saltcoats is a small town on the West Coast of Scotland,
This name is derived from the town's earliest industry when salt was harvested from the sea water, carried out in small cottages along the beach.
--
Taken using a Sigma 10-20 and Cokin ND filters.

Felt this shot was apt for today.

As it is my Birthday today we are off into Glasgow this afternoon to celebrate.
A bite to eat, a few liquid refreshments then the last train home ;-)
