Literally waiting for hours for this one colorful dinner cruise boat with pink lights to make its appearance. Many other boats passed by, but I wanted the pink one for the contrast with the blue bridge :-)

GPS is the exact spot of the shot. It’s a small public walkway along the river with enough space to set up a tripod. Unfortunately, no MRT or BTS to this location. However the Chao Phraya Express Phra Athit stop is a 5-minute walk away. You can arrive by boat and then take a taxi (Grab) home.

I had not planned to shoot sunrise as I was here to shoot Wat Hong Thong. To have this scene behind the temple would mean I would have to shoot from the water and here the water is much deeper than shooting in the Great Salt Lake. So no dramatic sunrise backdrop for the temple.

The light on the sticks is from temple lights.

When planning to visit Wat Hong Thong, you really want to make sure its high tide, low tide is muddy and not as interesting (in my mind).

End of day and everyone heading home on Soi Phetchaburi in Bangkok. In the mid-center of the photo is a passing BTS Skytrain.

This is a single photo and took some effort with a lot of shots going into the trash. I was shooting from a metal pedestrian footbridge and timing was everything. Any passing pedestrians caused vibrations, so I had to time each shot with carefully.

GPS is the exact spot of the shot.

Khlong Ong Ang (translates as pottery canal) is in an old town area of Bangkok that was revitalized into a trendy weekend hot spot.

The GPS is not exact, but will get you to the area and easy to explore. Simplest way to get there is the Sam Yot MRT Station.

Where it makes sense, I will publish GPS coordinates for locations I shoot in Bangkok as I want to promote seeing more of the city than the typical Must See list in every guidebook.

A colorful night facade in the Bangkok Old City area right outside of the Sanam Chai MRT. It took two tries to get this shot as the first night was pouring rain.

Museum Siam is the first national discovery museum in the restored Ministry of Commerce building.

Where it makes sense, I will publish GPS coordinates for locations I shoot in Bangkok as I want to promote seeing more of the city than the typical Must See list in every guidebook.
