Western Wyoming

From my Spring 2022 trip to the Northwest.

This was off US Highway 26, east of Grand Teton National Park about 40 miles or so. In the mid-distance, in the middle of that lush, green farmer's field (I'm told it's alfalfa) are at least 43 deer. At first, I thought they were pronghorn antelope as I'd never seen so many deer aggregated in such numbers, but they are, in fact, deer. In retrospect, perhaps I should have used a longer lens to capture just the deer and central part of the bluffs instead of the panoramic choice. But those are beautiful bluffs. I might have otherwise used several different approaches to the scene, but I was in a hurry, hoping to catch the Tetons before sunset.
