During the early part of the day we docked at a nice little town called St. Francisville, Louisiana, and then later moved on down to the capital, Baton Rouge. Both were cool.

I must say, this tree swing looks really inviting.

I took a ridiculous number of pictures on January 3rd, for some reason, so I'll divide them into two parts. First we went to a former plantation in Louisiana called Houmas House. It was really beautiful.

Our trip ended in New Orleans. It was the first time I'd been there, but I really liked it and hope to go back someday!
