The red public telephone box, designed by Sir Giles Scott is a familiar sight on the streets of the United Kingdom. Despite being replaced by more modern glass versions, and with the convenience of the mobile phone, these iconic red boxes can still be seen in many places and around the UK. The colour red was chosen to make them easy to spot!
