On our second last day in Snowdonia, we hiked around the coastal town of Harlech. We spend most of the day beneath a restless grey sky, walking through dripping green forests and fields of windbent trees.

In the later afternoon the trek took us towards the coast where large dunes separate the verdant fields and the Irish Sea. We rested here for a while before heading back, and we saw the sun when the cloud layer occasionally thinned.
