Most new students find their first view of Cambridge rather imposing.

This is the famous King's College Chapel

This tree is more beautiful than the Chapel it stands next to. This is the same tree as in Sheltered Death.

The white tree of Clare College Cambridge. Full view recommended :)

Click here for a view of the same tree in late winter, taken 3 years later.

Alleys such as this hint at the age of the town of Cambridge.

This shot aims to represent my experiences taking an undergraduate course at Cambridge. For the first 2 years of my 3 year course, I felt in the dark. However, by the 3rd year, I began to realise why they were making me learn the things they were teaching me, and I saw the light; so to speak. I felt 'englightened'.

Now, as the path extends around a corner I can't see past I'm told that the sky's the limit...

[If the bottom quarter is so dark that you can't make out the paving stones, you should calibrate your monitor :)]

The New Museum Site is one of the most random places I have been to. The home of many first year science lectures and labs, the New Museum Site has grown organically over the past 150 years.

The composition of this shot is intended to reflect this randomness.
