While heading as fast as possible to find a sunset spot in Lofoten, we couldn't help but pause by this lake and its perfect reflections.

After a mostly cloudy day, we were encouraged to see the clouds start to clear as the day began to wane. Hoping for a good sunset, we came down from the mountain that we were had climbed as fast as we could and then skipped dinner so that we could drive over to a place to the North that we thought would give us a good sunset photo opportunity. Despite being late, the view of Åltjønna (the lake in this photo) from the road was too good to pass by so we paused and sprinted through the reeds and marsh to the lake's edge.

This is a panorama of a few shots taken handheld with a fixed length camera. The scene called out for a wide angle lens but I had left mine in the car and didn't have time to go back for it. In the end the sunset wasn't all that spectacular, so I'm glad we paused for a few minutes for this photo :)
