After a an hour or so of glorious sunshine, the next round of rain marched over the inland mountains.

Part of what makes Scotland a great place for photography is how quickly the weather can change. You can go from warm sunshine and a calm breeze to howling rain in a matter of minutes. Watching the weather come on inexorably towards you as the wind picks up is a humbling experience. All you can do is get a rain jacket out and, if lucky, snap a picture or two as the unfolding drama interacts with the light.
