Jan and I are so thankful for our new Bloodhound, which is appropriate, since she was born on Thanksgiving. Her full name is Emily Grace of Rib Mountain, but I'm thinking of changing it to
Dr. Jekyll/Ms. Hyde, because she can be both shy and sweet as can be, as well as a total terror. Fortunately, she and Roso are learning to play with each other, so they can dispel a bit of their energy on each other. And Roso can correct her appropriately when she bites too hard with her sharp teeth. Our three older dogs correct her when she invades their space, which is also good.

I love the soft focus on this shot. It just fits.

Almost. She's growing so fast, that she might grow into her feet soon. Last night, she made it all the way up our spiral stairs to bed, without any help. She did this at an earlier age than any other dog we've had.

At training, this morning. Had to try out my new GPS and what better subject could I have?
