Sometimes the bands come in handy. Turns out that this is the same one that I posted before. Probably there's only one of them in the walk-through hummingbird aviary. A Google search for this species reveals my previous post as the #2 entry, which is pretty cool, and also a bunch of gallery links to it. Some people think these gallery links are stealing their images, but I don't consider them thievery, because they always give me credit for the photo. I'm just glad that people enjoy my work.
Looks like I need to go back and post to the groups that I was invited to on that shot. I don't want people to think that I didn't appreciate their invites, because I really do! It's just that I get busy from time to time and then forget to go back and catch up. I'm sure that most of you have the same issue.

Eastern Blue-necked Tanager (Tangara cyanicollis coeruleocephalus).
Range: Central Colombia to Northern Peru.
I was wishing I had a second camera to shoot the signs with the names of the birds on them, since I was too lazy to change lenses, when I suddenly remembered I actually did have one -- my iPhone. Worked great. (Except that this spoils the illusion that I actually know the names of everything that I shoot.)
