Practicing with my TS-E24mm f/3.5L II lens, wide open. Because I was able to tilt the lens to be parallel to the focus plane, I could still get a pretty good DOF, even though it was wide open. I was also able to shift it up and down to cut out most of the sky, which was uninteresting, without distorting the shapes of the mountains.

I was a little disappointed in the Grand Canyon, until shots like this one started showing up on my camera's LCD.
