A Pacific Tree Frog sitting on a Geranium flower waiting patiently in hopes for an insect to pass by close enough to catch for a meal.

Also known as the Pacific Chorus Frog, this small amphibian has a range spanning the Pacific Northwest, from Northern California, Oregon, and Washington to British Columbia in Canada and southern Alaska. They live from sea level to more than 10,000 feet in may types of habitats, reproducing in aquatic settings. They occur in shades of greens to browns and can change colors over periods of hours and weeks.

Orange-crowned Warblers are one of the plainest of warblers. The orange crown is rarely ever seen.
The Orange-crowned Warbler forages by flitting from branch to branch feeding on insects from the foliage and flowers, often seen fairly low. They will hover to take prey from underside of leaves, or catch flying insects while on the wing. They even feed on the nectar from flowers, like the one shown had been doing in the Flowering Currant Bush!

When the Wild male Turkeys also known as Toms start displaying their fanned tails, dropping their wings to the ground and sporting their swollen bright red snoods ( flesh above the beak) and emitting very loud gobble-gobble noises, you know spring is very close by!
