I spent the weekend of October 2-3, 2021 at the San Diego American Indian Health Center’s Annual Pow Wow in Balboa Park, which is a cultural event that showcases the heritage and traditions of American Indians. I spent the afternoon making portraits and I was rewarded with storytelling images of an Aztec drummer from Danza Azteca Calpulli Mexihca.
