As Marline drove eastward, heading home, I snapped a few shots from the passenger seat. This was shot from the parking lot of Dairy Queen.

Eden, Texas

As Marline drove eastward, heading home, I snapped a few shots from the passenger seat. I shot this in the parking lot of Dairy Queen, in Eden, Texas.

The surprising thing is that Eden is the farthest you can possibly get from all the borders of Texas. Signs on both sides of town proclaim that it's the official center of the state. So, if you're in the largest of all the contiguous United States, and you're a border patrol agent, what in the world would you be doing in the exact center?
